Sanpack GmbH Environmental Guidelines

We have committed ourselves to respecting the environment, assuming responsibility for it, conserving resources and avoiding negative environmental impacts. With our Environmental Guidelines, we are underscoring our affirmation to having proactive environmental protection. The guidelines are applicable to all of the operations and activities here at Sanpack GmbH, as well as to each and every employee.

Our manufacturing focus is not on products with the highest technical feasibility, but on those which are competitive, of high quality and with the lowest negative environmental impacts. We regard it as our duty to have safe, cost-effective and environmentally friendly production methods.

Here at Sanpack GmbH, we apply environmental protection to all areas of our business activities, as well as to the development and manufacturing of our products, together with the related working processes. For which reason, absolute priority is given to the selection of the various raw materials used and to having environmentally friendly production processes.

Saving energy represents a form of preventive environmental protection. We have committed ourselves to consistently and critically reviewing and optimising the use of energy in our company.

The aim of our guidelines is, by means of a continual improvement process, to avoid negative environmental impacts in all of our activities and actions, or to reduce them a minimum – and that also beyond the requirements set here by law. These include regularly assessing whether materials and methods with lower negative environmental impacts can be utilised, as well as adjusting and adapting the technical plant and equipment to the related developments. With the aim being to avoid having any residual or waste materials wherever possible, or to recycle and reuse them.

Each and every employee in the company is personally responsible for environmental protection. In this respect, the management have the specific task of establishing the preconditions for ensuring that in all of the production plant and other facilities, the safety of the employees and the protection of the environment is assured. These include the regular servicing and maintenance of the machinery and plant, as well as the immediate rectification of any defects or shortcomings.

By means of transparency and open communications both internally and externally, the company facilitates an understanding and awareness for the environment for both its own employees as well as its customers, which in turn promotes social acceptance of our products and services.
