Stretch wrap and wrapping film are synonymous terms for thin PE film used for packaging purposes. There is machine wrapping film and hand stretch wrap through to small rolls, so-called bundled stretch. They can be wrapped around just about every packaged item by machine or by hand. The goods are protected from rain and dust and can be exposed to difficult transport conditions as the stack and the pallet are securely connected.

However they become problematic when used during internal transport operations due to the high amount of material required. In this respect, sanstrap® stretchbands are better for such requirements. Hence stretch wrap and wrapping film should only be used for external transport operations.
